ENDS Survey of Environmental Professionals Now Open
The Society would like to invite you to take part in the survey of UK professionals whose jobs contribute to sustainability. In collaboration with ENDS, SocEnv invites all members of supporting Licensed Bodies to participate; you don't have to be a Chartered Environmentalist to participate but SocEnv would like to encourage all CEnvs to get on board. The survey investigates employment indicators for environmental professionals including:
1) Pay and conditions
2) Role in the green economy, and
3) Opinions on politics and green issues
Despite a gloomy economic backdrop, the 2011 results highlighted a heartening resilience in the continued commitment shown by employersand practitioners to developing the professional standards so vital to our shared future; with 20% of respondents claiming to have received a payrise, bonus or promotion as a direct result of achieving a professional qualification such as Chartered Environmentalist.
