Spring is in the air and 2010 is an important year for biological diversity. Countries around the world have set themselves targets to reduce the decline in biodiversity; Britain and the EU have gone further to seek to halt the decline by 2010. But all indications are that we are all failing to meet the targets by quite a distance.
Society for the Environment will over the next two months culminating with the attention to biodiversity issues in the beginning of June in Brussels focus on this issue and its importance to Chartered Environmentalists. You are encouraged to share your views, ask questions and make suggestions and SocEnv will regularly contribute to this debate on our website, including the CEO’s blog that you might want to follow.
