Professor Raymond Clark OBE, SocEnv Chairman
For some 30 years Raymond was a biomedical scientist with the Medical Research Council heading departments researching infections and their spread as well aspects of medical imaging. He was elected as President of The Royal Photographic Society (1998-2001) where he transferred a world renowned collection to the nation. He was awarded the OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2005 and achieved Chartered Environmentalist status in 2010. He is the Chief Executive of The Society of Environmental Engineers and a Board Member and Trustee of the Engineering Council. In 2010/11 he was the Master of the Company of Educators, a Livery Company in the City of London.
