How to become an Associate Member of SocEnv

Associate Membership Criteria

The SocEnv Team will be pleased to meet with any organisation wishing to consider joining the Society.  The staff can explain the criteria, procedures and timetables and answer any questions.

To qualify for Associate Member, your orgnaisation should:

• be a not-for-profit organisation;

• have aims, objectives and practices acceptable to the Society for the Environment.

• be able to demonstrate how it supports/intends to support the vision and values of the Society for the Environment;

• have environmental management and sustainability incorporated into its activities and operations;

• be financially sound.

The SocEnv Registration Authority and Board will expect Associate Bodies to:

• demonstrate their commitment to the promotion of the Society; and

• use the SocEnv logo on their web site and appropriate publications

Associate Memership Fees:

• £300 one-off Joining Fee which includes the remainder of the first calendar year free; and

• £300 Annual Membership Fee invoiced by SocEnv on 1^st Jan each year.
