How to become a Corporate Member of SocEnv

Corporate Membership Criteria

 

The SocEnv Team will be pleased to meet with any organisation wishing to consider joining the Society.  The staff can explain the criteria, procedures and timetables and answer any questions.

 

To qualify as a Corporate Member, your organisation should:

  • Be a commercial organisation;

  • Have aims, objectives and practices acceptable to the Society for the Environment;

  • Be able to demonstrate support for the vision and values of the Society for the Environment;

  • Have incorporated environmental management and sustainability into its activities and operations;

  • Demonstrate commitment to professional environmental standards by seeking to employ staff and/or advisors who are Chartered Environmentalists;

  • Be financially sound.

 

The SocEnv Registration Authority and Board will expect Corporate Members to:

 

  • Demonstrate their commitment to the promotion of the Society;

  • Use the SocEnv logo on their web site and in other appropriate locations.

 

The fee structure for Corporate Members based on annual turnover is as follows:   





£10 million plus £5000 pa

£5 to £10 million £2000 pa

£2 to £5 million £1000 pa

Upto £2 million  £ 500 pa    

These fees are for the full calendar year (or pro-rata for part of first calendar year)
